Long time no speak ey?
Life have been crazy busy lately but I thought I would come back to you guys telling you all about my first ever Birchbox I received last week.
Before I start, I want to say this is in no way sponsored! I just decided to finally bite the bullet (so to speak!) and order myself one and boy am I happy I did.
The first thing I picked out of my box was the 'balaceme Pure Skin face wash'. This retails at £16. The product I received is a 40ml sample which will be perfect for taking on my travels with me! It has quite a strong smell to it, which is something I'm not so sure about. Other than this I am excited to give this a try and see how my skin feels after.
I then pulled out the 'Anatomicals boob tube grab your melons shower gel', which is a full size product (50ml) and would usually retail at £1.50. This has got the nicest fruity smell to it. It's definitely going to be the next shower gel I use!
The next product for me to find was the 'Numer 4 BIRCHBOX exclusive Super Comb Prep & Protect' hair spray, usually retailing at £26.35. It is a 40ml sample size but again, perfect for traveling with! It also smells seriously good!!
Next up was the 'ecoTOOLS Contour Perfecting applicator' retailing at £5.
Then I finally found the contour stick to go with my applicator which is handy! It is a mini version of the 'ModelCo Contour Stick' which retails at £8. Now, try not to be too shocked but I must confess, I have never contoured in my life! Sooo I'm thinking this is a sign I need to try it out!
That was everything in my Birchbox, which I think is pretty good considering it only cost £12.99 for that amount of product.
