I hope you had an amazing Christmas.
I thought I would do this post today as I see a lot of these kinds of blogs around that people seem to love reading, I know I love seeing what other people got for Christmas, it’s just the nosey part within me. I can’t help it!
I am in no way bragging about what I got, I am so grateful for every single present I received over the Christmas period!
So let’s crack on shall we.
I thought I’d start off with the chocolate items I got this
year, because let’s face it, everyone loves a bit of chocolate, right?
These are all from a few different people. Some are from my
mum some are from my dad and the big box of Thornton’s chocolates are from my
Nan (and of course some are from Santa!!)
Of course I have already dug into the chocolate. That was
happening on Christmas day morning! I mean, chocolate for breakfast is allowed
on Christmas day, isn’t it?
These some presents I got from my god parents, friend and the
socks are actually from my Auntie and Uncle which I was supposed to put with
another set of presents but never mind!
I have already started on the eye pallet set using a brush
from the make-up brush set! I used this on Boxing Day to create an amazing
smoky eye look. The eye shadows are brilliant with a great range of colours.
The brushes are brilliant. I’ve actually only used the eye
brush but that one was great! It felt so easy to apply the eye shadow with and
was so soft which was great as some make-up brushes can be quite harsh and
scratchy.
The bed socks came in a pack of 2 from New Look. I’ve already
used the other pair though which have grey spots on them. They are so super
comfy and I’m pretty sure I’ve worn them every day since I got them! I’m literally
slightly in love with them. I am yet to use the other presents but can’t wait to try them out. They smell good enough to eat!
The next things are from my Dad, my Dad’s partner and the socks again from Auntie and Uncle.
These two are also from my Dad’s partner and step-sisters. The earrings did have another pair in however I have already got them in!
Accessorize things are always lovely. I really like their jewellery and bags. The colour of the earrings go with the colour of a ring I wear all the time which is why my Dad’s partner got them for me. They will be great for wearing at sixth form, something small and subtle.
These presents are all from my Mum. The first one, the Zumba
DVD is absolutely brilliant! I’ve had a go of it already, its good fun.
I haven’t watched the Michael McIntyre DVD yet but I’m really
excited to see it! I actually went to see the show live when he came to
Manchester but I loved it so much that I knew I wanted to see it again. Now, it really is no secret how much I love Ed Sheeran so it was obvious that I just had to see his DVD of him at Wembley! Of course I have already watched it and thought he was incredible.
The next things are more beauty presents. The make-up bag is actually
from my god parents which I forgot to put into the picture with the other
things they got me. It’s great for fitting all my make-up brushes in. Perfect
size for in my bag too for all the essentials!
The little square box is a Soap and Glory lip balm which my
mum got me. You all know how much I love Soap and Glory products to I was so
excited when I opened this present. Such a great surprise. The bigger box was a present from my Dad. It’s a great set filled with 2 lip chub sticks and two lip tints. Benefit always make good products so I knew straight away that I was going to love this.
These presents are all from my Mum.
Mum knows how much I want a pug so it has now become a
running joke with us that she buys me pug related things as she won’t let me
have a pug! The dairy is going to be great for keeping me organised with my blog posts. It’s also brilliant as it reminds me of my childhood!
The calendar is hilarious. I had no idea mum was getting me this, was a total surprise. There are some very funny pictures for each month. I can’t wait to get this up on my bedroom wall!
The slippers are so super comfy but also do make my feet very warm. So snuggly though and are so funny with the little tongue sticking out.
This next present was my big present from my Nan. It is so
warm and comfy. It’s also a really good fit, the belt doesn’t come too tight.
The pockets are nice and big enough to fit your phone in. It’s a River Island
coat so it’s no surprise how much I like it!
This was my main present from my Mum.
I saw this in Accessorize a couple of months ago and thought
it was perfect. It’s a great bag that I can use any time and just for a casual
bag. I’ve already started using it when I’ve been out to the sales!
This is my final present which was from my Dad.
This pressie is another from River Island.
I’ve been wanting a big weekend bag for ages for when I go
over to the Isle of Man. I’m so excited to use this. It’s going to be so much easier going
over there now I have this to put everything in.
I hope you guys liked this blog.
Let me know if there’s any specific blog you would like me to
do!
Meg x
