I have finally got my zip into my garment!
I chose to use an invisible zip in the back of my garment. This is a fairly simple process to do and has been in for around a week.
At the end of last week I chose to tackle putting my sleeves onto my garment. Unfortunately this didn't go so well.
Unfortunately I didn't manage to get any pictures of what went on (it was a stressful situation after-all!!)
At first I thought the problem was that the sleeves were too heavy for the garment to hold as the sleeves were weighing down massively off the shoulder; because of thinking this, I decided it was best to try having only 2 shoulder pads on my playsuit instead of three (as originally planned), thinking this would make it less heavy and it would then stay in place.
After more consideration I have realised it was the way I have stitched the sleeves on the is the problem. I am now going to do a different approach to my stitching, keeping the three shoulder pads in the design for now and keep my fingers crossed this way works!
Speak soon,
Meg x
